U2 concert date set

Clear Channel Entertainment has reserved April 8 for an Aloha Stadium concert by U2, according to a source involved with the endeavor. While an official announcement on ticket sales and prices is still pending, excited buzz about the show is swirling through cyberspace.

U2, led by Bono, will perform in Honolulu after a set of shows in Australia.

The stadium has been reserved for April 7, 8 and 9, allowing for set-up, a single concert, and break-down, said a source close to the deal, who asked not to be named because the source is not authorized to make an announcement.
