Zippys Secret Shopper

The Zippy's "Secret Shopper" Program was created to measure the kind of service our valuable customers are receiving at our restaurants and fast food counters.

What does a "Secret Shopper" do?
Be a typical customer, but as a "shopper" we ask you to critique the service you received and the quality of the food that is served. As a "Shopper" you will be asked to do two "shop" visits during the month. The locatons are assigned usually close to home, work or play. "Shops" are completed at your convenience during the designated time period. Shoppers are required to observe and make notes on the kind of service received by using the questions on the survey as guidelines.

Free food!!!!! Usually they pay you a small amount to do the evaluation but I'm not sure about this program. I signed up so we'll see how it goes....

My dad has been doing that for a few years now. We go with them most of the time. Not sure how much the give, I think around $20. You gotta fill out this sheet like hostess name, server's name, how clean are the bathrooms, did they tell you about the specials, did they repeat your order back to you, etc. Kind of hard to be discreet and writing down this information.

My friend used to be a secret shopper at Down To Earth but I don't know how she got that gig.

Down to Earth? How was that? What did she do, make sure everything is naturally made? ;)

We stop by the Down to Earth in Kailua once in a while.

Think it was more service-oriented - see if workers are doing what they're supposed to be doing. Been to the one in town a couple of times and they definitely need some secret shoppers there 'cause service is under par. OMG! Bad service, even in person! Say it isn't so.

Them naturalists are carefree and unburdened by the mainstream demands of customer service.

Either that or all that natural foods make them a little off kilter.
