The Emancipation is Coming...

Was listening to i94 this morning and heard Mariah Carey is coming to town for two concerts on December 10 and 12 at the Stan Sheriff Center.

The Wake Up Crew started playing Mariah's old and new stuff (and even the stuff when she went looney), and I forgot how much solid songs she has. I'm not a super fan, but you gotta admit she's had many hits over the years

Tickets go on sale this Saturday.

Stopped by the Apple store last night and saw the video Ipod and Nano in person. Wow! The video is really clear and the size is not too big or small. If it had a TV tuner it would be way more attractive but we can only dream... Saleperson said the 60GB video Ipods were pretty hot was selling fast. Better get your fast Tony.....

A Chorus Line

Saw "A Chorus Line" on Thursday at Hawaii Theatre. Not bad but not the best. Lighting wasn't the greatest and the sound was kinda hard to hear at times.

I'm not an Angels fan but they totally got robbed! The ref calls the player out with his fist and he has the nerve to say he never "said" that the player was out? How do you sleep at night after that? Geez! AFreakingMazing! People are saying on the radio - "I used to be a catcher blah, blah, blah and you're supposed to throw to first blah, blah, blah. If the ump calls him out what the hell are you throwing to first for? I hope the Angels pound the Sox at their home...

Amare out for four months!

Damn! Good thing it wasn't after I drafted him in my fantasy league. I'll miss his dunks more than anything. He's got the most explosive hops in the league by far. Nash's dimes are gonna take a dip without Amare, Joe Johnson, and Q-tip Richardson. Maybe Kurt Thomas will average 25+ points now....yeah right.

Hiking Moanalua Valley

We were supposed to go on this hike.

But went off the beaten path and got beaten up! Wasn't able to make it to the summit due to time constraints, ran into a bee hive, got stung(Frick it still hurts! Wah!), scratches all over but was fun nonetheless. Started out at 11am, got out of the trail at 6pm. Gotta follow the tips from the hikers from the above column the next time....
