Not a fan of the Starbucks drive-thru

Went to the Starbucks drive-thru in Kaneohe to check it out but didn't care for it. Understandably, they put the sugar and cream in the coffee for you but I'd rather do it myself. I thought they would just give me a packet and a little cream container but they just put it in.

Probably harder than finding a cool chick (guy if you're a girl,) is finding a good trustworthy mechanic. Here's some recommendations from the Cartalk website. Cartalk is a great show on NPR that runs on Sundays in the afternoon. They're hilarious and they know they're stuff.

Zippys Secret Shopper

The Zippy's "Secret Shopper" Program was created to measure the kind of service our valuable customers are receiving at our restaurants and fast food counters.

What does a "Secret Shopper" do?
Be a typical customer, but as a "shopper" we ask you to critique the service you received and the quality of the food that is served. As a "Shopper" you will be asked to do two "shop" visits during the month. The locatons are assigned usually close to home, work or play. "Shops" are completed at your convenience during the designated time period. Shoppers are required to observe and make notes on the kind of service received by using the questions on the survey as guidelines.


Free food!!!!! Usually they pay you a small amount to do the evaluation but I'm not sure about this program. I signed up so we'll see how it goes....

Target Coming to Hawaii?

According to the Pacific Business News, retailer Target is looking to occupy the location of the old Costco for its first store in Hawaii. This site will be temporary until Target can find other sites on island. When permanent locations are found, this temporary site will become a warehouse for the Target chain.
